Introduction
Outrigger paddling is a demanding and rewarding sport that requires a blend of skill, knowledge, and consistent practice to master. The College of Kahakai serves as a hub of resources—offering information to help paddlers develop the skills and understanding they need, guide their practice effectively, and train and recover in ways that support their paddling journey.
To make it easier to navigate, we’ve organized the content into three main sections:
- Your Body – Focused on training, recovery, and physical preparation.
- Your Boat – Covering information about outrigger canoes, equipment, and maintenance.
- Your Bay – Dedicated to ocean knowledge, safety, and preparation for time on the water.
We hope you find these resources insightful and supportive as you pursue your goals as a paddler.
